We needed a larger TV for our bedroom - after we remodeled the Master the TV was too far away and our old(ish) eyes had a hard time seeing the info in the guide. We were looking for a 50 inch, but at the store came across this beauty - loved the picture right away. The smallest available is the 55 inch, but when we found out there were two special offers - $500 off if you bought it with a Samsung Refrigerator (which we needed) AND a free 40 inch hdtv - we did the deal. I had heard the curved TVs weren't always great (like when viewing from the side) but they work great in a corner which is where ours is mounted, relatively high up on the wall. Picture is great - sound is pretty good.

If you want a beautiful more immersive picture, this is your TV. I am a big fan of the Samsung TV's The Smart Hub programming that is built into these is second to none. The competition does not come close. The only TV's out there that compare in picture quality in my opinion, are the LG TV's. I work in the entertainment industry and watch a lot of movies and shows that are up for consideration and I cannot be happier than spending my time watching this TV. You will be very happy with this purchase. If you ask yourself, what do I need with a 3D TV? The answer is simple. When buying a 3D TV, what you are buying is the best 2D set you can get. 3D is just a bonus. I have it mount4ed on the wall and it looks great. Enjoy your new TV :-)

I wasn't sure about my purchase at first because it's an expansive product but wow sure am happy amazing picture with bright colors, sound is good as well.. But I still connected my old Samsung soundbar without even trying it was really easy to setup from the start. The only thing that doesn't make since is the one pair of 3D glasses they give you it should have at least two glasses but overall great 4K tv 3D is surprisingly good!

Totally recommend investing in this awesome quality Tv. The 4k HDTV picture is amazing! You can link your wifi, and enjoy all the apps samsung has to offer, including YouTube and netflix! Voice command and 3d feature is pretty cool.

The picture on this television like watching live action

The pic is so good, I see colors, shadowing, actors wrinkles, the blackest blacks, the whitest whites, things I didn't see with my old tv.

The samsung 4k tv is probably one of the best buys i have ever made . It had 3d capability which i didn't know it even had until i got it home. The picture clarity is amazing also i love the feature (the reason i chose this tv) was the box that you plug your periphials into then you only have one cable going to tv. Came with a 1 gig wd hard drive that plugs into the box that can be easily accessed through the on screen menu to watch movies from. Over all an excellant buy.

I picked up this on sale and man was it worth it. It's so smart in still trying to figure it out. Only drawback is there is not a lot of 4 K content out where I can really enjoy it to its capacity

This TV has a very crisp picture and the fantastic full range sound. Very easy to connect via bluetooth, and WiFi. It's loaded with apps and connects seamlessly to my Samsung phone.

Love the samsung TV and Soundbar and would recommend to anyone. I have only bought Samsung TV the last 15 years and they are the best.

The tv did not meet my expectation. My old Panasonic plasma tv has a better picture. Can you help me fine tune the tv?

Outstanding picture, and love the new remote. This is my 4th Samsung HDTV and 5th overall, and I am beyond satisfied with my purchase. It's about time that they came out with a smaller and more ergonomic remote, and this thing is cool. The smart tv is really improved from previous models, and it's really simple to navigate and use. I was hesitant on getting a curved tv at first, but when you watch it, you don't even notice the curve as our eyes are curved as well. The "one connect" thing is an interesting idea that I'm ok with, but it hasn't really affected me in any way. I've had it for a month now, and I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. I went with this model becaus of the newer tech, and it's nice knowing that my tv is way beyond the tech of broadcast television, and it will be some time till it even catches up to the capabilities of this Samsung.

This 4K is Tv superb, the 3d feature is beautiful, best I've ever seen, my Sony 4k 70 inch 3D doesn't come close to this beauty in 3d effects . I'm glad I went to Samsung again, not dissapointed at all. Wish they would nclude a second pair of 3d glasses like sony does. The remote is new, had to get used to it. Compatible to your cable service, that's nice. Remote is Small, but efficient. The picture is stunning, you might have to adjust settings to your liking. All in all very pleased with the curved look of Samsung J9000 as well Sideview is not that awesome. Its ok though. The sound is great even without a soundbar. It's been 1 week, hopefully I will be just as happy as time goes on with my purchase.

Our home theater system was from 2005. When the old DVD player stopped working, we went to Best Buy to get a replacement. The Samsung UHDTV was on display. The on screen images were so lifelike, they took me and my husband's breath away. Over the next couple of weeks we kept thinking about the picture quality and decided to upgrade the TV ( the old model was a Mitsubish 50" using component input rather than HDMI). First of all, Best Buy offered free delivery since it was above a 50" screen. The delivery folks were pleasant and actually earlier than scheduled, which was nice. After installation, it did take us a while to figure out the Samsung remote. It doesn't have the channel key pad -- that displays on screen. Also, we discovered the Smart Hub button is what is needed to bring up the apps (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc.) . Note: Samsung offered a 30 day free Netflix trial, and Best Buy had a special promotional with Netflix to get a 1 year credit with Netflix on a new or existing account - value $143. The sales rep didn't tell us about that promotion, we discovered that on our Best Buy receipt. Over the next couple of days I programmed our Harmony Ultimate Home remote so we no longer use the Samsung remote. The first movie we watched from Netflix was a stunning and lifelike display. The first DVD we watched was The Bee Movie (with my grandaughter). The onscreen colors were outstanding. The UHD did improve the quality of our home theater system and it really does feel like an upgrade from the 2005 equipment. The only reason I'm not giving this a 5 star rating is because of the Samsung remote. As mentioned above, it's a little difficult to figure out at first. The first few hours after installation I had trouble determining how to change channels and get to the apps. I thought we were going to be stuck watching only one channel and thought we had wasted our money. I didn't find a manual in the box, but there is an electronic manual built in. You just have to know where to find it on the display screen. Also, when configuring the Harmony Ultimate home, I had difficulty finding the model number on the box. Since the TV had already been wall mounted and I couldn't look on the back of the screen, so I had to resort to finding it on my Best Buy receipt.

When problems started with the two TV's that we had for almost 20 years, we realized that it was finally time to upgrade to HD. People always remark favorably about Samsung, so that was our area of interest at Best Buy. The salesperson brought us up to speed on the technology and advised us that the 55 inch curved screen Samsung UHD Smart TV product in which we were interested also came with a 32 inch Samsung HD television and a My Passport Cinema as bonus items. Viola, in one fell swoop I could replace both of my old TV's. We bought the product and arranged for delivery and installation by the Geek Squad, together with "take away" of the old TV's. Prior to the delivery date, I arranged with Time Warner Cable to upgrade our cable system to accommodate the Smart TV with the built-in WiFi. This is a necessary step that cannot be overlooked, otherwise you will be purchasing a BMW with the tires of Yugo. When the new TV's were delivered and installed, the Geek Squad assisted in setting up Netflix, and we were off and running. My total expense was approximately $3,000, which I consider to be one of my best expenditures ever.

I wanted to buy a OLED TV to replace a 8 year old Sony 1080p. The reviews and testing on this model looked good. I wanted to see if I could see a real difference to justify the price of a OLED. After a hour visit to the showroom comparing OLED and various models, I could not see or justify paying that much more for a OLED. The Samsung's JS9000 black levels are extremely good, the colors pop. 4K content (what you can get it) is over the top, wow! Even old favorites like North by Northwest, they just look amazing. The biggest change is sporting events.. I am running out of adjectives. 3D movies are impressive, keep in mind you will need to buy more glasses for the family as this unit comes with just one pair. Another plus is the ability to upgrade this TV to the new standards (when available) by changing out the "one connect box". Down sides:Glare on screen from the ceiling can lights. I have to turn off the overhead can lights to watch at night. The remote takes some getting used to. Overall: Great TV , top of the line picture, upgradable, without the ridiculous prices of OLED!

Bought when it was on sell during Black Friday. Picture is awesome, especially 4k movies. The curved screen is a good conversation starter in my opinion, it reflects too much glare. 3D is very nice but hard to find content. For some reason, it gives me a headache. Even though I kept mine, a better alternative to save money, is to get a regular TV without 3D or curved screen. You won't miss anything

Looking to upgrade to a larger screen and originally looking at the Sony Brava but like he curve aspect which allows for better viewing in my area. Only thing I would recommend is that the HDMI cable should come with the TV since the picture isn't any good from cable. Haven't really used all the smart features but don't anticipate any issues when I do since Samsung has a good support reputation.

Though early (purchased 2 months ago) to review, so far the experience is incredible. The TV watching experience with UDH combined with the curve & 3D is amazing. Watching online content is also so easy and user friendly.This TV completely exceeds my expectations and picture quality is truly spectacular!
