I have the 55JS9000 and have it standing on a tv stand/fireplace (not IN a cabinet). I can tell you though, that the view from the side is not significantly impacted by the curve. Unless you've got someone viewing the tv from greater than a 70º angle - you should be good.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The side view for the curve is actually more limiting than my plasma set with a flat screen. It's very dim.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.we thought the same thing but the curved view is no problem. Actually it is very clear from the side
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Wether you have a flat screen or curved you want the best angle viewing. Therefore you would 't want to recess the tv in the cabinet. For the best angle viewing get the curved screen and set the side edges of the tv flush with the front edge of the cabinet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The curve is very subtle, so watching from angels will be comparable to other wide-angle viewable televisions. Thanks for your interest in Samsung products. --Mr. S
