Does this screen alow burn in like plasma tv's null

We asked the Samsung guy about this before purchasing. He said that is not an issue. We've had the tv for a month so can't ansewer this definitively. For now we go on what we were told.

Nope! Mine is on all the time. I'm sure any TV will have issues after several years

Long answer: Yes Short Answer: No To cause actual real permanent damage you would have to leave a static image on screen continuously for anywhere between 2000-2500 hours. That's about 3 months, of the same image, on the screen, without any movement at all, not going to happen. You may experience image persistence (which is non-permanent burn in) but that can be solved by simply leaving the TV off for around 10-12 hours. Image Persistence can be cause by leaving a static image on screen continuously for anywhere between 8-24 hours, it really depends.

No burn in on this TV like you get with plasma. One of the main reasons I did not go with a plasma TV.
