the sound from this tv is better than any I've ever had, and I've had quite a few along the way... i have been thinking of adding the soundbar only because I've never had one and want to check it out. but its def not needed here. its great. crisp and clear. and my guess if your wall-mounting the tv, you would either have the bar mounted to the wall directly under the tv, or get one of those tall long tables people usually put say behind their couch if the couch back is open to the room, and put the bar on it. and yes you would buy a soundbar separately.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have had absolutely no problems with sound for this TV without the sound bar. I will say that my TV is in my bedroom and not in a potentially crowded living or family room.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can hear the TV without a sound bar. But I highly suggest getting a compatible sound bar! We purchased the 2.1 sound bar with wireless subwoofer. The sound difference is DEFINITELY noticeable! My wife is technologically challenged, but she won't watch this TV without the sound bar!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In my opinion I would suggest getting a sound system the TV speakers are fairly good for what they are. To truly get the most out of your experience a sound system weather that be a sound bar or multiple speakers. Also as far as I know I don't think there is a wall mount for curved tvs out yet. Agian this is all an opion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The TV speakers sound ok out of the box. If you're wall mounting it adding a sound system such as a soundbar will help a lot given the speakers are downward firing. In terms of where you put the soundbar depends on what look you're going for. You can just put it on a TV stand if you're mounting you're tv above one. A very popular option is purchasing a soundbar mount that attaches to your TV mount so the soundbar floats under your tv.
