The televisions on displays in stores (including other stores) have their video signals go through a device that doubles the resolution. That is why the picture is not the same quality. There are settings to improve the picture. On the remote, hit the HOME button then scroll to the left to "SETTINGS" then push the ENTER button (center button on remote). When you do this it brings you to a screen that will say "PICTURE" scroll to the right and highlight "EXPERT SETTINGS" and here you can fine tune the picture.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Definitely play around with the picture settings but I’d also suggest checking your cable box settings. I just recently got a new cable box and the resolution was too low so I had to adjust the cable box (which I never even knew you could do).
