I read reviews prior to purchasing. I know that you can't make everyone happy, so I purchased this TV based on more positive reviews compared to negative reviews. The positive reviews were solid and I concur with them. I have wanted a curved TV since Samsung first introduced them years ago. They have finally become affordable for me to buy. The picture quality is superior to the replaced Sharp Aquos 50 inch, I believe the curve provides the superiority. While watching TV programs or recordings, you forget that the TV is curved; however, you don't lose any picture quality. In the space that my TV must be located is just large enough for a 50 inch. The curved shape allows for this size of TV (55 inch) to sit in that location without issue. If the TV were not curved, then the 55 inch would not comfortably fit in that particular location. Thank you Samsung for designing a TV that can go in a location that is restricted for space.

Great 4K curve 55" smart tv. Excellent, crisp, vibrant picture. Enjoy bluetooth technology, connecting my bt headphone & bt soundbar with subwoofer.

Overall a great tv, nice color and I would recommend it.

Tv is amazing, my wife and kids bought this for me for Father's Day. The screen got hit and cracked. I contacted Best Buy and Samsung and basically they said we can fix it for the price of a new Tv. I have had it for a month and 4" of the right side you can't see just a mix of colors. The picture is great but customer service would not do anything to help me out from either company.

I really love Samsung products, and the great picture makes watching T.V a wonderful experience, and the voice features are so nice worth the money.

Picks up a lot of glare in the day. I think the curve of tv is a cool feature but not sure of the actual benefit of it other than visually appealing to me. Overall I'm pretty happy with it.

love this tv! got a great deal online and the shipping was quick. The sound is ok out of the box, but a decent sound bar never hurts...hooked up a roku ultra and switched on the HDR mode and the tv came alive. Overall a great exp. so far, very satisfied.

It took me literaly a month to purchase this tv. Comparing prices online waiting for the best deal. Best Buy was the winner.

Love the tv except for the fact that the sound momentarily cuts out for a few seconds at times. I’m hoping its Spectrum Cable and not the tv.

Living room not to big but walls covered with wood paneling, was looking to upgrade my Samsung flat panel plasma 50' purchased back in October 2012, seen ads for the Samsung Curve but when they first came out too expensive, read some reviews on the current models and decided to go back to my local Best Buy here in Newport News and decided to purchase the 55' curve which at the time was $899 and was on sale for $719, wanted to go to the 65' but am on a tight budget and did not want to spend over $1000 for TV, actually called on the phone to order it, wasn't in stock there but clerk ordered one from the Virginia Beach store, clerk was very nice and knew the product, was surprised when I ordered it and only took a day and half to have it delivered to home, had Geek Squad come and install and they were also very nice and knowledgeable, once it was out of the box was somewhat amazed at how great it looks, absolutely love the curve screen, after I was instructed on how to use it, went in and did some tweaking to get the picture the way I wanted, my old plasma had the deep blacks and after some adjustments got the same on this one, didn't want to invest yet in a new sound system so have it hooked up to 2 Pioneer book shelf speakers I bought for the Plasma and it sounds great, even without the additional speakers on I can live with the sound on it by itself, thought I needed a new stand but it fits, just a little overhang, upgraded Directv boxes and this works great with the HD DVR, just wish there were more than 4 4k TV channels right now, This is my third big screen purchased from Best Buy here and so far the best, also love I can access internet without having to use my computer all the time and I can synch my Samsung Smartphone to the TV, if you are possibly looking for an entry level 4k Ultra HD TV I have no problem so far recommending this one.

TV basically sets itself up. Great Picture. This model DOES have HDR (I checked with the manufacturer. Also some other models by the same manufacturer are listed as having no HDR when they ACTUALLY DO HAVE the HDR feature). No need for other remotes. The "smart remote" does EVERYTHING !!
