I believe it does. I removed the mounting bracket from an older TV. It was the type with two vertical brackets that hang on a horizontal wall support. It uses the larger diameter screws. It needed longer screws than the old TV, but I had saved the assortment of screws that came with the mount, and I found the perfect length.
