“The difference between new movies and old movies is incredible. In the newest “Green Lantern“ and “Jungle Book” The characters seemed to almost jump out of the tv almost like 3D. Yet an older movie, “Blended,” had a lot of Judder. Is this 4K?”

Hi LuLusMom! The 55TU8000 features a 4k resolution. There is a number of factors that may effect how content appears on the TV. Content in general has improved over time in a variety of areas, with new content frequently available in full 4k UHD allowing for the optimal picture quality. You can explore different picture modes within the TV as well through the menu to find the setting that suits you and your content best. ^Tim
