I have an earlier model of this TV, and I can set it up for TV speakers and earbuds at the same time. Here are instructions I found: How can I use Bluetooth headphones and TV speakers simultaneously on Samsung Smart TV? Set up Multi-output Audio 1 Press the Home button on your remote control to bring up the Smart Hub and then select Settings. 2 Select General then Accessibility. 3 Choose Multi-output Audio. 4 Your TV will search for nearby Bluetooth devices. ... 5 Select your Bluetooth device from the list and choose Pair and Connect.

Everyone has different hearing ranges Some high sounds or loud sounds actually hurt my ears and certain low sounds like people speaking in a low voice I cannot hear them And my volume tolerance changes so I have to keep a volume control in my hand. My husband likes the closed captions As well Hope this helps

When this function is active, you can set the volume of the Bluetooth headphone higher than the volume of the TV speaker. Go to: Settings > General > Accessibility > Multi-Output Audio. ^Tim
