Hi McDel, To ensure your TV sound goes through your Blu-ray player, please go to Settings > Sound > Sound Output. Also, check whether Digital Output Audio Format is set to Pass-Through by going to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format > Auto.
