“We bought this TV yesterday and once we connected our devices found that the older (but works great) Samsung surround sound bluray player turns off when not playing disc. Which means no PC or gaming surround sound. Any settings we can change to fix this?”

Hi McDel, To ensure your TV sound goes through your Blu-ray player, please go to Settings > Sound > Sound Output. Also, check whether Digital Output Audio Format is set to Pass-Through by going to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format > Auto.
