• The store should answer this, but I believe Open Box means somebody bought it and returned it. "In theory" it's *kinda* new but not really, and "in theory" it's not defective because "in theory" the store checked it out when it came back. I think you basically take your chances and sometimes "in theory" you might get lucky and get a bargain.
