• the base is 33" wide and 13" deep. i'm very disappointed about it not having a swivel feature. my last samsung 48" was heavier and had a swivel base, i assumed this new 55" did not have a swivel base because it was heavier and would not be safe, but it's actually a decent bit lighter than the 48".
