I'm in love with my new 4k Ultra TV!!!!!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After spending countless hours contemplating between different 55" flat screens I decided to go with the 4k Ultra from Samsung. It had great reviews and that is always a selling point for me. Some people say that it is not worth it to buy a 4k tv because there are not many 4k things available for viewing. Let me tell you it is worth every penny. My tv upscales everything to where I don't even waste money to rent blu-ray because the picture quality on a regular dvd is incredibly upscaled. This tv has amazed me with every aspect. It starts up and is ready for viewing instantly, it has amazing sound without a sound bar, the picture is the best I have ever seen. When I had the cable guys here to install my cable they sat in awe at how great the cable tv looked on the 4k. I showed them a video in 4k ultra hd and they were blown away. Before they left they asked my where I got it, how much it was etc. I told them Best Buy has the best deal, trust me I researched. At $699 it was $100 cheaper than Walmart for the same tv. Plus 12 months no interest if you choose to use a Best Buy credit card is also an added bonus. The pictures I have added were taken with my cell phone that is a Samsung Galaxy S4 and uploaded onto my laptop. They look no where near what they look like just from my phone to the computer much less from the tv to the computer. The picture is really so much better than I have captured.

Amazing Picture Quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have had a Samsung TV for several years and been happy. When we decided to upgrade to a SmartTV with 4K we looked at other brands to compare but came back to Samsung. This TV makes you feel like you are in whatever you are watching. My husband is an avid sports watcher and loves this TV! The sound quality is great too. The remote took a while to get used to, but that's really my only negative.

great tv for those who like to watch movies, music
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.before purchasing this tv i read reviews from people with so many wrong claims about comparing the un55ku6300 and the un55ku6290. some even claimed the un55ku6290 do not have hd because the world analog was used has being part of the tv. this is a 4k uhd tv and the name clearly says it. so I purchase on purpose both tv to compare. both are simply the tv with the same similarity and functions with few differences. the 6300 have a pro function that the 6290 doesn't have. I prefer the 6290 picture and sound for it chipper price and being the earlier model I choose to buy the 6290 over the 6300 . great tv to buy for it 4k viewing and sound. they both do not have the 3d function and another difference between the two the 6300 has a blue tooth while the 6290 doesn't. meaning you have use a cord for a sound barr for example instead of the blue tooth without a cord

Easy to set up...great picture.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was surprised at how easy it was to set up this TV...Working solo and due to TV large size, it was a tad difficult getting out of box...After that it was simple to set up.Great picture quality. I agree with other reviewers that the sound could be a bit better...that's why I only gave 4 stars.

Q: QuestionIs it True this tv has no audio output , so you can not hook up a sound bar
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer This tv does have a audio output! So yes you can hook up a sound bar. On bestbuys website it says that it does not, and so did the Best Buy employee, but if you look on samsungs website it says that it does. We were skeptical when buying it because of this, but when we got it home it had one!

Q: QuestionI have this tv for less than a week and it has a big issue. The screen goes black for 1 second rendomly no matter what source i use: antenna, hdmi from my macbook, screen mirroring ... Anyone experienced this issue ? I have reset the tv twice already .
Asked by Slim.
- A:Answer Just picked up this TV today, and having the same issue. Turned off all the eco settings, which didn't fix the random screen blink. Have now also turned off the 'auto motion plus' [under settings, picture, expert settings] setting which has eliminated the problem for over an hour now. Will update if problem pops up again.

Q: QuestionI just got this TV and installed it. Every app (Netflix, HBOGo, MLB) works except for YouTube. When I click on the YouTube app, it is nothing but a black screen. Anyone else have this problem and know how to solve it? Thanks.
Asked by Tess.
- A:Answer I'm the same person who asked the question. I ended up doing a live chat with Samsung directly and they remotely accessed my TV and the country code was incorrect. They set it to USA and now everything is fine. Thanks to all who answered.

Q: QuestionIt appears that the motion rate says 120 but the real motion rate is 60 why the BS. It is the same with all the manufactures why dont they all give us the real motion rate
Asked by 1240.
- A:Answer Motion rate 120 is a 60hz refresh rate. the way samsungs motion rate works is that it has a processer that can add a black frame in between every frame shown on the tv.

Q: QuestionI purchase this TV and receive it after a week in box saying UHDTV only, no where was saying 4k on the package, when i purchase it in store they said is 4k UHDTV. did someone else receive it in same box, or there it is same 4k and UHD? Thanks
Asked by grasko.
- A:Answer 4K is just a more popular way to say UHD, so this TV is 4K. So to be clear UHD = 4K no difference.

Q: QuestionThe general description of the product does not say that it has HDR, but when you click on the "DEMO" link, under the "At A Glance" as well as the "Docs" tab, the specifications do state that this model (UN55KU6290) has HDR. So, does it have HDR?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Well it is a bit complicated :) It actually does have HDR according to Samsung, but than again it doesn't. Bare with me here...so this is an 8bit panel and as such it just cant reproduce full range of HDR colors--real HDR planes are 10bit. Samsung has their own technology that boost colors little bit on this model, but it's but a gimmick compared to the real HDR. Than again, this is a great all around TV with more than decent color reproduction and picture looks almost perfect for everyday viewing. If you are after HDR on a budget this is what you get, if the budget is not a problem look at higher end Samsungs with 10bit planes.

Q: QuestionWhat is the screen refresh rate (not to be confused with Clear Motion Rate) for this TV (Model: UN55KU6290FXZA)? 60 Hz or 120 Hz? Thanks!
Asked by Panther2007.
- A:Answer This set has a native refresh rate of 60hz. Don't let anyone tell you different. The 120 "Motion Rate" is just a little interpolation trickery that all manufactures are using to confuse buyers. Look up some good professional reviews and you see the truth about many 120, 240, etc "rates."
