This tv does have a audio output! So yes you can hook up a sound bar. On bestbuys website it says that it does not, and so did the Best Buy employee, but if you look on samsungs website it says that it does. We were skeptical when buying it because of this, but when we got it home it had one!

If you go on Samsung's website it shows there is the standard Samsung output (aka old school optical), however it also has one HDMI ARC slot so you can join the 21st century and have a newer sound bar connected. here is the link for the full info: http://www.samsung.com/us/video/tvs/UN55KU6290FXZA

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This tv doesnt have a blue tooth but s sound bar works fine with an optical or HDMI. I just purchase it.it is a great tv with a great picture .the blue tooth seem to be the only difference with un55ku6300. I like it sound and picture better than the un55ku6300 and it is cheaper i had the choice between the 2 of them I am returning the 6300 to keep the 6290 same smart remote ss the matter of fact the remote control of either work fine with each other. The optical sound is better than the hdmi sound
