“I recently bought this tv. I was wondering if once connecting devices via HDMI if the tv is supposed to pick up and recognize what’s being connected? Cause mine didn’t and I’ve seen other Samsung tv’s that do recognize what is being connected.”

A window wont pop up. You have to go to the settings and pick which source you want. Hope this helps.
