• If the surround sound system is either Bluetooth or Wi-Fi capable, yes! I have both a Bluetooth speaker and a Wi-Fi Samsung Series 5 sound bar connected to mine!

• I don't know. There is only one audio out on this TV (it is an optical connector). I use this output to connect to a Bose solo 15 unit which has an optical input.
