No, the screen cannot swivel from side to side.

Please try again later.Hi You would have to remove it from the stationary stand attached at the bottom of the TV and buy\use a swivel wall mount( it only weighs 41 pounds though). The TV stand that comes with the TV is attached with a couple of screws and would require moving the whole TV in order to change the angle. For me it was worth getting a wall mount because it is easy to see \move for viewing anywhere in the room. It should be noted that this particular TV is still viewable in our room which has a lot of light from surrounding windows, some of the cheaper models we have had in the past were harder to see in brighter lit rooms (if that is why you're trying to change the angle of the screen).
