A:AnswerOn the settings under sound you can choose one of 3 settings if I remember right. But sound can only go to the TV's speakers or to an external device - not both at the same time. So you may be in luck here.
A:AnswerI have not been able to get this to work yet, the TV will output one or the other. Our solution was to buy a Samsung soundbar. If you get one that will connect to the TV via HDMI and IR. You might be able to listen to the BT through the soundbar while the TV speakers still work. I Recomment taking your headphones to the store to try prior to buying.
A:AnswerVanessa,
I would not waste the money on the Samsung. I ordered one Nov 23 2018 ... It lasted until Jan 4. I got the replacement on Jan 15. That lasted until this past Sunday.
Look at Sony or LG before Samsung. Even a Sharp. I'm trying to get this 2nd one replaced with the LG.
This is truly my personal experience with it. It actually fit a TV stand I have had for over a decade.
A:AnswerIf you feel completely confident about navigating through the setup cycle, then fine. Do it yourself. If not, then the $100 is money well spent. You will avoid the frustration of trying to figure out how and where to go through the "setup tree." Everything will be covered properly and in the correct sequence. Plus there is the additional benefit of asking the setup people questions.
