• Hi Faye, Actually the TV is 48.5 inches wide. The TV itself is 27.9 in height, but if you add the feet to the tv, then it will stand 29.4 in. The 55 inch wide is if you measure from one corner to the opposite corner in a diagonal direction.

• Hi Faye - The 55” Q60A TV legs are height adjustable for a total TV height of 29.4" (1.5" of clearance) or 30.4" (2.5" of clearance). The height of the TV without the legs attached is 27.9". ^Gina
