Omg yes i cracked the underneath glass in the top right corner and didnt even realize it till after mounting t.v cause the outside curved glass was fine not even a mark and i broke it by holding it to tight i never dropped never hit it agaist anything worked perfect out of box ibwould have never got this t.v if i knew it was so fragile i mean how is holding it tight gonna break such a expensive t.v and how can the outside glass be absolutely fine not even a strach its a beautiful t.v but beware if u sneeze on it ....it will break
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Exactly! I learned the hard way that my sony 55" is so fragile that if anyone knew they would never buy it. $700 broken after 6 months never dropped or damaged. Just moved it and now it is worthless.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You hold it by the edges, keeping it vertical so the weight is supported on the bottom edge. You don't need to touch the screen to do that.

Screens are fragile, with the support coming from the edges, or the bezel. When handling a TV or large screen, ensure you are supporting the TV from the top and bottom bezel vertically, not applying pressure on the screen, avoiding bending the TV in any direction. It is recommended having multiple people assist with moving or installing a large screen TV. ^Tim
