A:Answer I can answer your second question about Bluetooth. No this model does not support Bluetooth. The Best Buy salesperson explained to me that the 58-inch was a limited, holiday model that stripped out a few features of the standard versions in order to make it less expensive. Which explains the less expensive price point. Unfortunately, I was told by someone on Samsung's chat support that the smart remote is not compatible with this model because it does not have blue tooth. This is also why when you go to device management, it may appear that you can add a wireless keyboard but you can't. Other than this, I haven't seen anything else that is visibly different between this and the standard size models.
I am still trying to figure out whether this model has HDR+ - the menu gives you the option to select this, but I see the same thing what you are saying about it going dim rather than becoming more vibrant. Also not sure about the upscaling capability. It does make my older DVDs look better.
