QuestionI have had my stove just a month over a year and now when heating the oven the power goes off by itself and so does the clock. I'm having to disconnect the plug and plug it in again to get it to come back on. I would like to know why is this happening?

QuestionHow do I calibrate this oven? I’ve added an internal oven thermometer and noticed the oven is actually 50 degrees hotter than the set cook temperature.

- Answer I would think you should have the oven sensor replaced. 1800 Samsung can answer the calibration issue.

- Answer usually if you open the bottom drawer usually on the left side on the oven itself you will see the complete model and serial number. if you cant read it clearly like me take a phone pic. so you can enlarge.

- Answer Mohsin, the 18k dual burner range, has the child lock feature, 18,000 BTU, Dual Ring, and 5 burners with a total weight of 178 lbs. The integrated griddle range does not have a child lock feature, has only 17,000 BTU, and only 4 burners with a total weight of 169 lbs. Please check these links for more details. - Answer Yes, Maddy, the range will still work even if you do not connect it to the SmartControl feature. Connecting to the SmartControl via the SmartThing feature using your phone is an additional feature that will help you send cooking instructions to your oven, give you energy usage alerts, monitor meal status, and so much more. If you want to try using the SmartThing Feature, please see page 30 under the "Smart Control" section of the manual for more details.
