• Does not need a vent. The oven vents out the top-rear of range, flowing air over the cook top. Fan is very quiet and seems to be on a timer/temp setting since it continues to vent after oven is off. Top of vent is cast iron, like the grates over burners, making the cook top very nice and high-end looking.
