“New to this type stove...when does the fan run in the bank of the oven? Also how well does the air fryer work compare to separate counter top model?”

Hi there, I can help with that. The convection fan will run anytime you use the Convection Bake cooking cycle. This will allow the heat to be spread through the oven at a more evenly temperature to cook for faster cooking. Same for the Air Fry. This will allow for faster cooking and save space on your counter tops by not having two machines. This way you have multiple cooking methods located right at your finger tips without out having to pull out other devices. Thank you for choosing Samsung. ^Brad
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The fan on the gas range runs intermittently (when using the convection setting)to circulate the air for , yes, even baking. It does not run continuously. The air fryer i feel works great if not better than the seperate countertop appliances. My guess is, brad from samsung was just reading a universal manual and hasnt actually baked with this range.
