QuestionHow does the Air Fry work? I see that the wire tray is included, but there is no drip pan. What do you use to catch the grease when cooking chicken, etc?

QuestionCan gliding racks be purchased for this model? The gliding racks make putting and taking things out of the oven so easy and it would be great if we could have those with this model.

Questionhow much electric current does this range actualy use, I am on time of use PG&E and pay a premium for electricity used during normal cooking times. All I can find is a 20amp receptacle is required. If it uses 20amps it will fry my breaker.

QuestionMy Samsung nx60t8511ss gas slide in range left rear burner flickers from the air coming from the rear oven exhaust fan. This fan is located at the upper left rear of the range.Of course this only happens when I use both the oven and the left rear burner.

QuestionIs the convection fan in back of oven supposed to run when you’re using the air fry mode? I can’t find info in the user manual on the fan running. Mine isn’t during air fry and I thought it was supposed to. Thank you very much!

- Answer Hi Thomas! There are two fans in the oven. The internal cooling fan, which helps keep the electronics cool, and the convection fan, which is visible at the back of the oven and circulates heated air for more thorough cooking. The convection fan turns on and off at regular intervals and has a quiet, low humming noise. Some models have more than one convection fan. ^Jecca

QuestionNo matter which feature I use on the oven as soon as I turn the unit on a fan starts running and it runs all the time, well after oven is off. It is pretty loud and annoying. Is this normal? Not one of my previous ranges were this loud (nor slide-in.)

- Answer Its a convection oven which uses the fan to evenly circulate the hot air in the oven. The fan runs when off to help dissipate the hot air as well. If you don't want the fan to run use the regular bake option not the convection bake.

QuestionHow do I remove the grates covering the oven vent? There is at the outer edge a sliver piece of metal that seems to lock them into place. Model NX60T8511SS. Reason to remove is to clean the accumulated grease from them and under the surface of the grates.
