“The owner's manual says that if you select BAKE with a set time it should preheat, and AFTER it hits the target temperature, the timer will start counting down. Mine starts counting down the set time DURING preheat, not AFTER. Is there a way to change?”

I have not used my timer yet but I did notice that the time clock starts counting after the oven preheats. I hope this is helpful.
