“Is the small washer on top an agitator washer ? I would love a second small washer but only if its as gentle as a front load and spins out most of the water like a front load.”

It is a very gentle washer and works wonders. It is very short and does not have an agitator that sticks up, there are ridges on the bottom of it. I love it.
