Thanks so much for asking, Jack! While the majority of outlets available in most homes in the US are 110/120V, typically there are 240V outlets available for dryer and range locations. However, we do also offer gas models that will only require the 110/120V outlets. ^Jecca
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Most US houses are wired for 220 (which is really 240 as it is done using the phase wires from the pole). Most electricity is supplied to homes via two phases and a ground wire. If you connect one phase via ground to a socket, you get 120/110 volts; however, if you connect the two phases coming in to the socket you get 240/220 volts. Electric ranges and dryers require 220/240 volt connections. That is usually never a problem anywhere in the US.
