Thant's an interesting question. While we would definitely recommend trying to clean up any spills as soon as they happen, this likely would not cause any permanent damage to the unit. Depending on what the liquid was that spilled over, it will likely dry on the outside of the unit if it is not cleaned up immediately. ^Jecca
