Let's say you're watching Planet Earth on Netflix at the following resolutions: -480p: You can see a blob and you deduce that it's a bird based on context clues. -720p: You can definitely tell it's a bird, but maybe not what kind. -1080p: You can see the bird very clearly, and likely identify species. -2160p: You can see individual feathers on the bird. Check out the chart I attached and apply it to your situation.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Jabori, 2160p is a professional production and cinema standard, while 1080p is a consumer display and broadcast standard. 2160p has twice the resolution of a standard 1080 TV and can be viewed on a larger TV and still have a clear crisp picture. ^Rosi
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The picture is much clearer and sharper at 2160 p.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I really don't see such a brilliant step from 1080 to 2K TV unless their coming out with some future add ons that will make the 2k really earn the 2K price. So for now I don't see paying extra to see ever feather on the bird "No Shade."
