Q: One reviewer said this television doesn't support Netflix. Is that correct?
A: I bought this TV two weeks ago brand new and Netflix and other apps are built in this already. It definitely does support it.
Q: What is the visual differance between 1080p vs. 2160p?
A: Let's say you're watching Planet Earth on Netflix at the following resolutions: -480p: You can see a blob and you deduce that it's a bird based on context clues. -720p: You can definitely tell it's a bird, but maybe not what kind. -1080p: You can see the bird very clearly, and likely identify species. -2160p: You can see individual feathers on the bird. Check out the chart I attached and apply it to your situation.
Q: Does this TV have the "soap opera effect"? Can you turn it off or on?
A: Yes, it is called Auto Motion Plus and you can turn it on or off.
A: The base is 21x13" and the length of the tv is 54". I use a stand that's 46x15 and it hangs off on each side a bit but it looks good I think. Hope this helps.
