I would contact tech support. I do know that mounting over a fireplace is not recommended due to the potential of increased heat to the device. Make sure there are no wireless devices nearby that would mess with the speaker hardware.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just don't think the speakers in the set are very good and apparently there is no equalizer function available. I have a soundbar but prefer not to use it all the time. If you don't have that option with your TV over the fireplace I would go with another set. My picture is great but the sound is more like an old portable TV.
