• Speakers are located in the rear, but you would never know it cuz the sound is GREAT!

• This unit has down firing speakers.

• seem to be underneath the TV as the bezel around the screen is thin and barely notice anything but the screen, personally witch is preferred and would not want a large black bezel for speakers. The speakers have a great sound to them, but as always, its a 60" get some type of soundbar or stereo to really enjoy such a size
