• A:Answer Honestly, its options that most people will never notice... The 8 and 9 series tend to have the "Quantum Dot" screens, which helps with the color contrast, but that might be the biggest difference you will see between the boxes. Everything else is a list of small apps or features that may or may not bring value to you.

• A:Answer High Dynamic Range has to do with the TV's ability to clearly display the full detail of pictures that include both light and dark areas in the same scene. Without HDR, sometimes it's impossible to make out details of the darker areas of the scene. We've kind of gotten used to that because that's the way TVs have always been, but HDR can actually deliver more of what your eye would actually be able to see if you were viewing the same scene in person.
