“Hello. I purchased this TV and upon installation I cannot tell if there is a screen protector I need to remove. There appears to be something over the screen because I can feel it at the corners, but it almost looks as if it is intended to be permanent??”

Hello. On mine, it only had the sticky vertical edge strips that are there so you can grab the TV to lift it. Under that in the right-hand corner was the yellow energy guide. Mine did not have anything else to remove from the screen than that.

The triangle will have an illustration showing how to remove the protective film. If you do not have a blue triangle in the upper left corner, then that means there is no protective film on the screen, so please do not try to peel off anything. You will damage what is actually the screen.
