“We are old fashion and do not have internet connection. We do have satalite cable. Will that be an issue if I purchase the tv? I just want a nice large screen don’t care about the apps.”

If you dont stream anything from the internet you will be okay. If you dont care about apps. Talk to your satellite provider about 4k quality service to get the most out of your TV they'll help you out with understanding what it takes to get 4k quality pictures through cable service. But if possible buy a 4k BluRay player to watch movies if you haven't already done so
