No it wouldn't you might fit it on a 55-inch stand if its a wide base one. But it's a definite no for a 50 inch stand

Please try again later.Good question..for this 65in, the under t.v. stands sit 1/2 inch from the edge on the stand that I used to support my 55in in my room, and the tape distance is 48inches. So if your stand is 50 inches, you should be fine.. mine sit inside of a wall unit, so there is no chance of the set getting knocked off of the stand, but if it is exposed to getting hit off of the stand, get a larger one, or mount it.. oh, a very good t.v with a awesome picture.. better than what I thought for the price.. hope this helps...no photos, I still use a flip phone...
