“I intend to buy this Samsung UN65FH6001FXZA LED TV. I have a six year old Yamaha receiver with 5.1 sound receiver and a Sony Blu Ray DVD player with five speakers hooked up to my outgoing 60" Sony TV. I have a high speed internet connection right behind the existing TV set. Will I need to buy any other equipment with this new Samsung 65" UN65FH6001FXZA TV to get Netflix and Hulu?”

Depends. Does your blu ray player have built in wifi? If so then you are fine. If not you will need to check to see if your receiver can equip a wireless adapter. the speakers are wired into the receiver and not the blu ray player correct?

It sounds like you have a great setup. The UN65F6001 model, however, does not have the Smart TV platform. The LED F6300 and up models will support the SmartTV 2.0 features that host Netflix, Hulu Plus, and others. Thanks for your interest in Samsung televisions. --Mr.Samsung
