• Never mind. It says in the specs that it can play movies through USB. So whoever keeps saying know should probably research before you answer. Like I said it doesn't have to be a smartbtv to do so.

• Doesn't have to be a smart tv to do so. I had an LG plasma tv that would play downloaded movies through USB.
