“What is the correct screw length for installing wall mounting bracket? I want to mount this TV to a vertical wall, and the brackets I have in my kit are 1/16" thick. I know I need M8 machine screws, but am unsure of the correct length once the plastic rings and bracket are in place. I do not want to damage anything inside the TV. Can you help?”

All of the Samsung TVs follow the VESA bolt specifications. That said, Samsung cannot tell you how long the screw should be because we don’t know how thick the metal on your mount is, what washers are being used, or what spacers are being used. However, we can tell you the depth of the hole on the TV. Also any VESA wall mount comes packaged with a package of screws that usually will have three lengths depending on what spacers you are using. As you probably already know, the 65" LED TVs will be compatible with a VESA M8 Bolt. Screw Size-> Hole Depth M4-> 10mm M6-> 15mm M8-> 15mm -MrSamsung
