“I've been trying to purchase the HU8550 since Black Friday, but it's continually "unavailable". Why keep promoting it if you can't get it? Is there any chance this will ever be available again? Sales prices keep being listed, but I cannot order for delivery or pick up. Why continue to promote a product that is constantly unavailable. Is it being discontinued?”

I had the same problem. Went to Best Buy local store and they were able to manipulate the inventory and set up free delivery at same price

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.When people started looking at TVs, they saw a new kid on the block. The 4K UHD sets were a major leap in picture quality. That and the price of oil caused many to raise their price ceiling. Those like yoursel fwho also wanted quality found a crowd at the HU8550. Believe me, it's worth it. I have one. Grab the best raincheck deal you can get and wait it out.

I told them I lived in Surprise, AZ (I was visiting our son in E. Lansing) & wanted to know the availabilty at the store there. They checked, said it was available & could be delivered to our home the following week when we returned home. I bought it & it was delivered as promised. I noticed it is made in Mexico.
