The panel in this TV has a native refresh rate of 120hz. As you're aware, the 240hz is the "effective" refresh rate achieved by samsung's picture processing system and is mainly for marketing. All of samsung's 2015 model 4K TVs that say Motion Rate 240 are actually 120hz panels. Last year, they were 60hz panels. Panasonic is the only manufacturer that currently has any native 240hz panels in 4K.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The native refresh rate on this panel is 120Hz. I was watching the Women's World Cup on one last night, and motion blur is minimal. FYI, there are NO 4K panels with 240Hz native refresh. The $40,000 UN85S9 was still 120Hz native. For extra info, Google "refresh rates rtings", it's a good read.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a 120 HZ tv. The best buy dude said, on the 2015 models, that anything above 7000 120hz.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Actual refresh rate is 120hz. This is why I bought the 7100 over the 6500.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe the actual refresh rate for the panel is 120. (Samsung does not appear to publish this number themselves.) http://reviews.lcdtvbuyingguide.com/samsung-lcd-tv/samsung-un65ju7100.html http://www.whatisrightforme.com/tv/Samsung-JU7100-UN65JU7100FXZA-3613.php
