From your question I think you mean you have a cable provider and satellite provider. Each of which has a receiver box. All of these converter boxes I've seen (newer than 3-4 years ago) have HDMI outputs. This TV can accept up to 4 HDMI devices and 1 component video device
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as you are getting HD now it will work... I used to install cable and 59 is the old outdated stuff (and that was 4 years ago) but as long as you are getting HD now on that outlet nothing should change.. 4k isn't really mainstream yet with only a few sources. Netflix, Amazon prime, and YouTube are what I've used. Mostly would depend on your Internet speed to keep up with streaming. As far as I know Direct TV doesn't have 4k definition yet, along with most if not all cable companies. The TV itself "up converts" 1080 HD to 4k, but it's not true 4k. When I stream something in 4k it's a lot nicer looking.. I have this 65" TV and I sit about 6 feet away. If you're not getting HD currently I would talk to direct TV to see if they can upgrade the cable for the outlet, especially if it's what's stopping you from upgrading and thus paying them more, they should be able to work something out.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on the DirecTV box that you have. Call DirecTV customer service and ask them. Their customer service is really good they should be old answer that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I personally would use a high quality hdmi
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sue, Yes it will work correctly, but you may need a Cable box depending on the situation. The DirecTV technician would be best able to discuss equipment options for your situation. Thanks for your interest in Samsung products. --Mr. S
