• The gray color looks like black to me and blends very well with my black and chrome theater.

• No. The dark silver edge molding is so small and dark it looks black just a few feet away.

• I'm fairly certain it does not. Personally, I like how it looks. Looking at it straight on, it is dark enough to pass for black. You really only notice the silver from the sides (or stand if you used it)
