“Does tv have optical audio output?”

• The mini hub does but I am not sure I am getting 5.1 through.Read a technical review that said hub would allow pass through of 5.1 but not sure if that is only hdmi.My receiver is showing only stereo signal though as I have no hdmi on my receiver and had to use optical.

• Yes it does but it will not let you pass 5.1 signals through it, you will have to use HDMI ARC to get the best sound. Otherwise it will down mix the audio to 2 channel PCM. I had to find that out the hard way. Hope I helped.
