• Will work with any of the, but will work wirelessly with the HW-J550, and work flawlessly with TV remote from samsung.

• I always keep the same brand. It makes compability much more consistent.

• Id stick with a Samsung brand. The tv has the capability to hook up to the sound bar so you can control the volume with the tv remote. I purchased athe Samsung and I'm very happy with it.

• Sony definitely has more bass! But I am a Samsung fanatic and they actually recommend to stay with the same brand of the tv you purchased!!!! I purchased the HW-J650/ZA, you will NOT be disappointed

• Samsung soundbars are not top rated, you will be able to control the TV and soundbar using one remote. In addition to Sony and LG, look at Polk Magnifi and Yamaha Yas-203
