For all intensive purposes - they are the same television set. However, you are going to see the '800D' at Costco I think and nowhere else. It has a different bezel too - but the panel and the technology should be exactly the same. In the past it has been suggested that there is a "panel lottery" going on. Samsung over the phone has been known to suggest the Costco model is just slightly subpar on display quality. You aren't going to recognize the difference unless you have a total lemon of a purchase. Both Samsung and Costco have given great support to me in the past. FYI did you know if you do purchase a TV somewhere else, you can bring in the receipt to Costco and extend the warranty just like you would if you had bought it there? Pretty awesome.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just bought the S8000 a few weeks ago and love it. The two models are exactly the same, the 800D being supplied to and sold by warehouse clubs only. I chose to get the S8000 because Best Buy had it on sale for a great and comparable price to the warehouse clubs and for the reward points.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, they're the same TV. I believe one is the Costco/Sam's Club SKU (UN65KS800DFXZA), but they are identical.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They are different tvs. The 6000 series is the introductory series. No HDR and 120 refresh rate. The 8000, has HDR and a 240 refresh rate. Also has Samsung quantum dot display and better speakers. Just to name a few differences
