• Yes, the on/off button is at the bottom of the TV.

• It does have on/off button on bottom right side under panel. This button is little tricky. when you pull towards yourself, it displays on screen your options.

• I don't see one. Ours is mounted high above our fireplace so I cannot see the top, but there are none on the sides or the bottom. We have it hooked up to a cable box and use that remote. By the way, it's a great TV - the colors are amazing! My husband and I are very impressed with it and we have 3 other HD TV's in the house. It does come with its own remote as well.
