The 6500fxza and the 650dfxza are the same based on the Samsung manual. They use different (1 letter) model numbers for different distributors to prevent the price match rule. Although, they are identical TVs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The S in SUHD is not insignificant. It indicates Samsung's premium line. While SUHD is still 3840x2160 UHD, the S designates richer brighter color. I have an SUHD and I love it. Mind you, there is not a huge difference in picture quality. The regular Samsung UHD TVs are fantastic. But there is no denying that the SUHDs are better. Whether SUHD is worth the extra money is a personal choice but that S is not simply so different stores can charge different prices. There is certainly a picture quality improvement with the SUHD.
