• You will need about 15 to 18 inches for a comfy fit. If you add the curved sound bar be prepared to have at least 20 inches. I put mine ( tv and curved sound bar) on top of a vintage solid wood desk and it looks fantastic and it's very sturdy. I switched out the regular desk legs for shorter legs for better viewing. DO NOT put this beautiful TV on a cheap stand.

• So assuming the spine of the tv was flush up against the wall, is say 2-3 inches
